At the Opera House, Wellington show of ‘Ian McKellen On Stage: with Shakespeare, Tolkien and You’.
As a special treat, Ian McKellen called up the Hobbit cast members that were present in the audience to do a little bit of Shakespeare acting themselves, from ‘Henry V’. Ian McKellen’s show has been raising funds for repairs to the Isaac Theatre Royal, which was damaged in the Christchurch earthquakes of 2011.
